died Oct. 16, 1884 - her exact date of birth and death under study. She was last found on 1880 census living with son in law Jacob Schory and age given as 87 y/o. In 1850 gave age as 59 y/o, In 1860 gave age as 66y/o
The Ruperts were founders circa 1800 in Columbiana Ohio. Some moved west of Columbiana. Her brother is John A Rupert (spelled Ruperd) in Stark Co, Ohio also.

They had at least one child named Saloma who married Simon Snyder and moved to Bremen Indiana.
They also had another daughter, Eliza who maried Harmon Shafer and moved to Indiana.
Jan 2, 2012 She was previously thought to be buried in Liberty Cemetery. This has now been corrected to Mapleton.

Adolph and Margaret Rupert had known children per various census as:
Saloma/Sarah
Eliza
Andrew
Margaret
There may be other children who died young. Some of the children moved to St. Joseph Indiana.
Note: There are two other memorials created for Margaret Rupert Schmachtenberger in this cemetery. We are requesting administrator merge the two, which has been done.
Update 2/27/2016 from Tonya a Seachrist researcher mentions the following: As a sidenote, many of my Sechrist relatives are buried in Hepton Union Cemetery (where Saloma is buried) and Bremen Cemetery (where I became connected with Harman) and I had traced them back to your area of Ohio (where they spelled it Seachrist). You had transferred several of their memorials to me last year.
