Virginia M. Judkins
Marinette - Virginia M. Judkins, 78, of Marinette, WI passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Ginny was born April 16, 1942 in Appleton, WI, daughter of Beau and Mildred (Plutz) Huolihan.
She graduated from Appleton High School in 1960 where she met the love of her life, Harvey (Judd). They married on July 24, 1961. They spent 62 wonderful years making each other laugh while following their dreams. She was an Administrative Assistant for the Marinette School District and then spent 35 years with Goodwill Industries. She had a passion for photography and enjoyed sharing that with family and friends... She spent many wonderful days at the lake house, tending her garden, swimming, boating, and cooking for the family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harvey (Judd) Judkins, two children: Todd (Cathy) Judkins; Jaci (Ted) Haakonson; two grandchildren: Zac and Erin Judkins; brother and sisters: Anna Kading, Joyce (Ron) Haberland, George (Sue) Huolihan; sister and brother-in-laws: Jan Huolihan, Nancy Huolihan, Rose Franzke, Claire Huolihan, Char (Ken) Schmidt, Terry (Nancy) Judkins; Randee Matthews, Jimmy Budgin, Diane (Nick) Runge, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Robert Long, Sr. and Lorraine Budgin, four brothers: Gordon, Clifford, Michael and David Huolihan; brother-in-laws: Larry Judkins, Robert (Bobby) Long, and Earl Kading.
Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton, WI on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 11 am - 1 pm with funeral services to follow. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rennes Nursing Home, The Cottages of Marinette, and Unity Health. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Ginny's personal caregiver and friend, Mary Orosco.
