Died:
- Caroline N. (Fisher) Bowles, 69, passed away on September 21, 2012 at the Mitchell County Hospital. She was born was born July 12, 1943 to Edwin and Nora (Ahlvers) Fisher on a farm south of Cawker City, KS.
Caroline grew up in Glen Elder, KS and attended grade school, and graduated from high school with the Class of 1963.
On June 10, 1967, she married Donald Bowles and three sons were born to this union: Arthur, Charles, and Duane.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Mary Circle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Louise Finley; and sister-in-law Glenda Fisher.
Survivors include her husband Donald; sons Arkthur, Charles, and Duane; brother Allen Fisher of Downs; sister Becky (Jack) Marzolf of Glen Elder; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the Glen Elder United Methodist Church. Visitation be at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Glen Elder United Methodist Church.

Glen Elder - Caroline N. Bowles, 69, of Glen Elder, died Friday, September 21, 2012.
Survivors include husband Donald, sons, Arthur, Charles and Duane all of Glen Elder. [She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Paxton Fisher and Nora Josephine Ahlvers Fisher.] a brother Allen Fisher of Downs, and sister, Becky (Jack) Marzolf of Glen Elder.
[Caroline graduated from the Glen Elder High School class of 1963. Caroline was a kind soul that never new a stranger. She lived her entire life in Glen Elder.]
Visitation: 9 am - 8pm, Monday, Sept. 24 at the McDonald Funeral Home, Beloit. The casket will remain closed. Funeral 10 am Glen Elder United Methodist Church, Glen Elder. Memorials to the Glen Elder United Methodist Church in care of McDonald Funeral Home, 910 N. Campbell, Beloit, KS 67420.
