Will Celebrate Anniversary At Home of Son, John Tripp, March 27th OLDEST RESIDENT IN FAIR- HAVEN TOWNSHIP Mrs. Eliza Gobel Tripp, the oldest resident in Fairhaven, will observe her 90th birthday anniversary at the home of her son, John Tripp, on Friday of this week. The children and their families will gather to pay their respects to Mrs. Tripp on her anniversary. Mrs. Tripp has spent 67 years of her life in this section of the state, and can be highly classed as one of the pioneer residents of Fairhaven and Chadwick. She was born in Hessen Darmstadt, Germany, Mar. 27, 1841. She came to America with her parents at the age of 23. After living in this country two years she met and was married to Anthony Tripp. With her husband she moved to the Tripp farm 3 1/2 miles west of Chadwick where they resided until 29 years ago when they moved to Chadwick. Mr. Tripp was a mason by trade, and was away from the farm a great deal of the time. This left Mrs. Tripp, the mother of ten to take care of the work.
