      Celestine 'Sally' Sullivan
      Vigil service and rosary for Celestine "Sally" Sullivan, 82, was 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Funeral Mass was to be 10:30 this morning at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Garden City, with the Rev. Joseph Bahr officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
      Mrs. Sullivan died Friday, March 4, 2005, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
      She was born May 12, 1922, in Victoria, to John and Catherine Schmidtberger Rupp. She grew up in Victoria and attended school there.
      On June 20, 1943, she married Fredrick R. Sullivan in Rockingham, N.C. They lived in various places before moving from Cheyenne, Wyo., to Garden City in 1962. A homemaker, she also was the manager of the Elks swimming pool for several years. She and her husband also owned and operated The Plaza Cue, The Keg, Five Points Motor Co. and Sullivan Retail Liquor.
      Mrs. Sullivan was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, and enjoyed sewing, playing solitaire and other card games, pool, bowling and current events.
      In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Carol Nanninga and Judy Dohogne, both of Garden City, and Sally Farmer of Emporia; a brother, Linus Rupp of Bushton; three sisters, O'Linda Schnurr Schantz of Colorado Springs, Colo., Alice Wasinger of Hutchinson, and Albertine Rome of Hays; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.

      Survivors: Sally is survived by her husband, Fredrick, of the home, three daughters; Carol and husband Kent Nanninga, Judy and husband John Dohogne of Garden City and Sally and husband Michael Farmer of Emporia, Kansas. Sullivan on June 20, 1943 in Rockingham, North Carolina. They lived in various places. They moved from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Garden City, Kansas in 1962 and have lived in Garden City since.       A Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Sunday March 6, 2005 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Memorials may be made out to the St. Dominic Catholic Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Calling hours are from noon to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
