Brookville; Born in PA. in 1825; came to this Co. in 1853; owns 87 1/2 acres land; Has held office of School Director, Collector and Assessor; Married Elizabeth Bomgardner in 1852; She was born in PA, and died seventeen days after the marriage; Married Catherine Rickert in 1853; She was born in PA; They have eight children: Mary E, John W, Charles, Samuel, George, Della, Joseph and Albert.
    • Moved to the Brookville area of Carroll County in 1853.
