      Obituaries:
      William L. Wright
      William L. Wright was born April 28, 1895 at Clifton, the son of Irving and Lona Wright.
      He died Sept. 12 at Thomas County Hospital at the age of 85.
      Mr. Wright moved to Brewster in 1922 and began working in the harvest fields. Later he was involved in farming and cattle buying. He retired at the age of 82.
      On Jan. 30, 1943 he married Mary Idonia Thompson in Brewster.
      Mr. Wright was a member of the Brewster United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher for the adult class. He was a member of the Brewster American Legion and served with the U.S. Army in Germany during World War I, where he was wounded in action.
      Survivors include his wife, of the home; a stepson, John Tracy, Brewster; a sister, Minnie Wright, Denver; his stepmother, Bertha Wright; a half-brother, Glenn Wright, Riley; four step grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
      He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
      Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Sept 16 in the Brewster United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Coachman officiating.
      Burial was with military honors in the Brewster Cemetery.
      Pallbearers were Warren Reid, LaVelle Michael, Virgil Parker, Lyman Goetsch, Jerald Wolfe and Kenneth Eicher.

      Notice of Hearing and Notice to Creditors
      State of Kansas to all persons concerned:
      You are hereby notified that on the 8th day of October, 1980, a Petition was filed in this Court by Mary I Wright, sole and only heir; devisee and legatee and Executrix named in the Last Will and Testament of W.L. Wright, deceased, dated June 6, 1968, and the Codicil thereto, dated June 26, 1980, praying that the Will filled with the Petition be admitted to probate and record; that Mary I. Wright be appointed as Executrix to serve without bond.
      You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before the 31st day of October, 1980, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., in said day, in said Court, in the City of Colby, in Thomas County, Kansas, at which time and place said cause will be heard. Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition,
      All creditors are notified to exhibit their demands against the estate within six months from the first publication of this notice, as provided by law, and if their demands are not thus exhibited, they shall be forever barred.
