Obituary
Edna Luella Cody
Edna Luella Cody, 46, a wellknown Goodlandbusiness woman passed away Monday night at Sherman County Boothroy Memorial Hospital in Goodland.
Mrs. Cody was born April 7, 1922 at McDonald, Kans., to John W. and Mary Tracy.
Her husband Marion Cody passed away May 13, 1951, and since that time she has made her home in Brewster.
Mrs. Cody is survived by two sons, SP-4 Roy E. Cody, stationed in Vietnam; and Sammy Cody, Lincoln, Nebr; her mother, Mrs. Bill Wright, Brewster,; and one brother John Tracy, Brewster.
Mrs. Cody was a member of the Methodist Church of Brewster, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and was Past district president of the 9th District of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Cody has been an employee and manager of the Reed Music Co. in Goodland for the past three years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 2, 1968, in the United Methodist Church in Brewster. The Rev. Gene Shoemaker officiated.
Organist was Mrs. Kenneth Eicher. Vocal music was by Mrs. Gene Shoemaker and Mrs. Bill Selby.
Burial was in the Brewster Cemetery. Services were conducted by the Sage and Smith.
