1536 | Lloyd "Bill" William Sporing, the son of Lloyd and Nancy (Thompson) Sporing, was born on December 26, 1945 at Colby, Kansas. He passed away on November 19, 2020 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 10 months, 24 days. Bill attended Goodland High School at Goodland, Kansas. On November 22, 1964 he was united in marriage to Virginia ?Sue? Copper at Goodland, Kansas and to this union were born three boys, Bill, Todd and Chad. Bill worked for Sullivan?s Dairy Farm north of Superior for many years and also at Mid America Dairyman in Superior. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, collecting Hot Wheels, listening to music and going to black powder shoots, attending car shows, working on vehicles and dressing up for Halloween. He was a past member of the Superior Elks Lodge and on August 27, 2020 he was baptized in Superior by the Rev. Rayh Robbins. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Nancy (Thompson) Sporing, sister?s, Donna Bergquist and Nancy Brown, and his father in law, Jim Copper and mother in law Ruth Branstetter. Sister in law, Mary Hanna and her husband Jim, Brothers in law, Leroy Beckner, Fred Larson, Jim Copper and Austin King. He is survived by his wife Sue of Superior, Nebraska, son?s Bill Sporing of St. Francis, Kansas, Todd Sporing and Chad Sporing of Superior, Nebraska. Nine grandchildren, Justin Sporing, Levi Sporing, Jessy Sporing, Gavin Sporing, Niki, Janelle and Tadd Fuller and Michael and Chrystina McGowan. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Rupp of Salina, Kansas and Letha Kibel of Canyon City, Colorado a brother Ronald Sporing of Colby, Kansas, sisters in law, Carol Larson, Frances Herren and husband Jim, Janice King and Ruth Studer and husband Earl along with a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a many friends. 1542 | Lois grew up on a farm and attended Oakland School through 8th grade. On March 31, 1951 Lois and LeRoy were married at Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA. After marriage they lived in Massbach and Pearl City, IL. She was a member of Cedarville Emmanuel Church. Survivors included her two sons; one daughter; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 7 step great grandchildren. 1543 | Lois Joy Ehredt, age 90, passed peacefully from this life into eternal life with her Lord Jesus Christ on January 2nd at Advocate Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville, Illinois. She was surrounded by her loving family. She will be lovingly missed by her family and those who knew her. Lois was born on August 26, 1927 to Anton and Margaretha (Randecker) Kehl in Massbach, Illinois. She was the eldest of two girls born to this family. She grew up on the farm in Massbach and attended Oakland School through the eighth grade. She attended the Rural Youth Meetings in Elizabeth where she met and fell in love with LeRoy E. Ehredt. They were married on March 31, 1951 at Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. They first lived in Massbach and later moved to the Pearl City area making their final home on Raders Road. To this marriage were added three children: Dale, Lynnette and Daryl. Lois was a caring mother, farmwife and also a cook at the Oasis Restaurant and at St. Francis School for Exceptional Children. She is survived by her three children: Dale (Shireen) Ehredt of Durand, IL; Lynnette (Donald) Blasing of Brimfield, IL and Daryl (Linda) Ehredt of Juda, WI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jenniffer and Peter Michaelides of Mundelein, IL; Jason and Ellen Blasing of Ashland City, TN; Joyelle Blasing and Jennine Blasing of Peoria, IL; Joylynn Blasing and Jamison Blasing of Brimfield, IL. There were three step-grandchildren: Richard (Shari) Curran of Monroe, WI; Eric (Candy) Curran of Shannon, IL; Jason (Jessie) Curran of Juda, WI. She also had one great-grandchild and seven step-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband ? LeRoy Ehredt who recently passed away on November 5, 2017, her parents - Anton and Margaretha Kehl, and a sister ? Lucille who died at the age of 6 years old. Lois was a woman with a deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and demonstrated this through her prayers and love for her family. She lovingly cared for her husband, LeRoy, in their home during the final years of his life. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She regularly attended the Cedarville Emmanuel Church. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hermann Funeral Home in Pearl City. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Cedarville Emmanuel Church in Cedarville with a visitation beginning at 9:30. 1545 | Loretta Pearl Stonner 11/30/1951 - 11/27/2021 Wife, Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend Loretta, known to some as Lorie was born in Burlington Colorado to Carol Joyce (Hershey) and Ralph Sheldon Thompson. She Spent her early childhood in Burlington Colorado. The family moved to Adams City Colorado now known as Commerce City today. In 1954 Lorie attended Adams City High School and exceled in sports, lettering 16 times in her four years at Adams City. Lorie graduated Adams City in 1969 and decided to attend college at Western State University located in Gunnison Colorado, here she would meet the love of her life William Pate Stonner, Married July 22, 1970, they spent 51 years together building a family and enjoying scouts with their three sons. William Pate Stonner II born February 1971, Jason Christopher Stonner born May 1972 and Michael Paul Stonner born January 1975. Lorie and Bill purchased their first home in Lochbuie Colorado and as their family grew and required more room, they moved just down the way located on the outskirts of town between Ft. Lupton and Hudson. Here they would find their forever home, a place they would watch their kids grow, and seasons change. Lorie loved her kids and grandkids, beyond anything else they brought great joy to her life. Lorie had a total of 9 grandchildren, Five Granddaughters: Arizona, Alexis, Taylor, Dilynn and Grace. Four grandsons: William (Billy), Jaden, Logan, and Odin. Teo great grandsons: Aiden and Ronin. She loved watching them in all their sporting activities, school plays or just texting to say I love you. Lorie was very active in volunteering for her boys in school and scouts. Lorie led the RIF program (reading is fundamental), she was an avid member of the PTA. She volunteered for the fundraiser at the Hudson fair and help led field day. Lorie was involved greatly in scouts starting out as a Den Mom. Some of her accomplishment would go on to include earning her Silver Beaver, she was an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow and received 3 beads for Wood Badge and many other awards and accolades. Lorie's love for the scouts and the outdoors overflowed into her professional career as well. She was a wiz with numbers and managed the budget for all donations for Denver area council for the Boy Scouts of America. She spent 25 years with the scouts and retired in 2017. Lorie held some hidden talents she was amazing at crocheting, drawing, sewing, creating epic Halloween costumes for her kids and grandkids. She was a pro at sudoku and the Sunday crossword puzzle. Lorie had a beautiful voice and very smart wit. She was great at trivia and a person you could count on for sound advice regardless or if you wanted to hear it or not. Lorie could have a hard shell, but inside was a big softy who loved life, family, and friends. The legacy of Lorie?s giving spirit lives on in her children and grandchildren?s passion for sports, love of reading, and zest for life. Lorie will forever be greatly missed. 1548 | Lorraine R. Bear BREWSTER ? Lorraine R. Bear, 84, Brewster, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005. Mrs. Bear was born Lorraine R. Wears on Sept. 17, 1920. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Lyman of Brewster; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brewster United Methodist Church. 1549 | Louis ?Mick? Grinnall, 76, of Clinton, died on April 19, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, while surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory with military honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS. A luncheon will follow the services at the Eagles Club. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Grinnall, Ted Tholen, Michael Ramirez, Ron Izer, Tom Hintermeister and Larry Petersen. Louis ?Mick? Martin Grinnall was born on August 8, 1931, in Savanna, Illinois, the son of George and Elizabeth (Ehredt) Grinnall. He was a 1950 graduate of Savanna High School. Louis was a corporal in the United States Marine Corps having served from 1951 to 1953. He married Donna Bumann on December 4, 1954, in Clinton. He had been employed as a lineman for Northwestern Bell, which later became U.S. West for 331?2 years retiring in 1990. Mick was a member of the Clinton AMVETS, the Eagles Club and REAC and the Telephone Pioneers Club. He also enjoyed camping and spending winters in Texas. In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by one daughter, Lynda Griffith, of Carbondale, Illinois; two sons, Larry Carpenter Grinnall and Michael (Mary) Grinnall, both of Clinton; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; one sister, Betty Morris of Savanna, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
