You'll have to tell Jade that the one that can honestly tell us, who his father is, would be Aunt June. This was a subject that was never brought up in any family conversations.
Yes he is Aunt June's son. When Aunt June and Uncle Ward were married, Ward wanted nothing to do with Derrill. My folks took him in. My dad's sister, Aunt Bernadine could not have children. So she and Uncle Ted took him in, but never adopted him. A few years later Bernadine and Ted divorced and dad's parents (my grandpa and grandma tripp) took him in and raised him. I have sent out a couple feelers. However I will not hold my breath for any answers.
