Text	Sept 11 - 83 Dear Folks how are you we are fair(?). Sure been hot this summer. Kathryn was out for visit this summer in July. I went along back and come home from minneapolis to K C on a plane. Minnie and Jack are not very good. Millie is in a wheel chair. Emil Tonne had a stroke. Our garden dried up this summer. The Reinkings are having a picnic Seen(?) the 18. I dont know if very many will be there or not. Well maby we will have another Picnic next summer if we all feel better. Carl
