My grandfather Emery Huff married Julia Ann Thompson and they adopted my mother Lelia Mary Stroh/Huff. Julia died when my mother was a little girl and my grandfather married Ida Matilda Thompson, Julia's sister . Ida and Emery Huff had two sons John and Omer.

Lelia passed away at 4:50AM the morning after giving birth.
Buried:
Mrs. Lelia Mary Clark, 35 died at her home near Gervais, Oregon; Sunday morning after giving birth to her eight child, a daughter; Saturday. Death was indirectly caused by childbirth, according to the attending physician.
The funeral will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Ringo-Cornwell Funeral chapel in Woodburn, Oregon with Rev. Ormal. B. Trick officiating. Internment will be in Belle Passi Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was born in Kansas, August 22, 1918, and moved to Gervais from Yakima, Washington about 10 years ago. She was a member of the 1st Evangelical church of Yakima. She was married August 31, 1936.
Surviving are the widower, Vernon T. Clark of Gervais; children, Yvonne, Pamela, Sharon, Gary, Terry, Donald, Gloria, and the baby Debbie; father Emery Huff of Gervais; brothers John Huff of North Carolina and Homer Huff of Kennewick, Washington.
