John Storey was an Engineer commetioned by the Prime Minester to go to England and see how we (Australia) can help them with the war effort. It was dicided to build factorys in Australia with the goods going towards the war effort. open his return to Australia they built factorys including the Australian Government Aircraft Factory, and they based them on the English factorys. Sometime later he was Knighted by the Queen of England, Sir John Storey for his efforts.
